D. To assign performance design member attributes
To assign additional member and structure attributes used for performance design, use the following procedure.
The following tools used are only available
when the Performance Design mode is selected in the
Chinese Steel Design workflow.

On the Chinese Steel Design
ribbon tab, select the Storey
Information tool in the
Performance group.
The Storey Information dialog opens. - Add storey definitions by elevation to define the structure storey levels.
- Assign the storey levels to members using the provided tools.
- Click Close.

On the Chinese Steel Design
ribbon tab, select the Dissipated
Region tool in the
Performance group.
The Dissipated Region dialog opens. - Select the appropriate end for the member plastic zone and assign to members. using the provided tools.
- Click Close.
